Okay. Yep. Order order. Welcome to this meeting of the culture media and sports select committee. Today is the opening of our oral evidence on the BBC Royal Charter Review.
And first up today, we are joined by James Graham and Marina Hyde, both of whom have views. And that's what we want to hear is, their views on the BBC and where we go in its future. Now James is an award winning playwright and screenwriter. His works include Quiz, Sherwood, This House, which sometimes makes a little bit of an uncomfortable comment on the whips office here in this building, and, of course, his play, Dear England, which I absolutely love about England's men's football team, is going to be on coming to our screens on the BBC very soon. Marina, an award winning Guardian journalist, podcaster, who hosts the hugely popular Rest is Entertainment podcast, regularly discusses the state of British TV and media in The UK and, like us, has been covering quite a lot of the ups and downs of the BBC over recent years, and, of course, had a long form interview with Tim Davy on his departure as BBC, chief executive.
