Challenging few weeks in respect of the Greenland situation, but I welcome the developments of yesterday. And, first of all, the announcement by President Trump that force would not be used in respect of Greenland. And secondly, that the threat of tariffs on certain new member states were to be lifted. But more importantly, a framework had been agreed upon in which situations in terms of security in the Arctic and Greenland would be discussed. There is an existing treaty between Denmark and the US, and clearly that provides a framework to enable discussions to take place.
And I think it's important now that it's in a process that we deescalate tensions around this and seek to deal with it through the framework that has been agreed. And also to focus on Ukraine. The situation in Ukraine is desperate. Hundreds of thousands of people have lost their lives at this very moment because of the attacks on energy infrastructure and a very difficult winter. Many people in Ukraine are freezing, with no heating and so on.
There's a desperate need to bring this to an end in a fair and sustainable way, so the US and Europe and the relationship between the two are critical in terms of a just, fair, and sustainable peace in Ukraine. And we cannot lose focus on the situation in Ukraine. Could I ask?
