Welcome to this afternoon's session of the Justice Select Committee, when we are delighted to be joined again, but after a substantial absence, by Stephen Parkinson, who is the Director of Public Prosecutions. And members of the committee will be asking him about various aspects of his and his department's work. But we have to begin with declarations of interest, starting with Tony Vaughan KC.
