Good morning, everyone. I would like to open the meeting of the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs. The first item on our agenda is the adoption of the draft agenda. Are there any comments or objections to the agenda as proposed? I see none, so the agenda is adopted.
The second item is the Chair's announcements. I have a few points to share with you regarding our upcoming schedule and the interpretation services available for today's session. Interpretation is available in all the usual languages for this committee. I would also like to remind you that the meeting is being webstreamed.
We have a very full agenda today, so I'd like to get started as soon as possible. First, I'd like to ask if there are any comments on the agenda. If not, we'll move on to the first item, which is the adoption of the minutes of the previous meeting. Are there any comments on the minutes? If not, they are adopted.
Now, we'll move on to the main item on our agenda today, which is the discussion on the economic situation in the European Union. We have several speakers who will be presenting their views on this topic. I'd like to start by inviting our first speaker, who is the Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs. Commissioner, you have the floor.
