The next-generation launch vehicles of an international space agency will be manufactured using robotic additive manufacturing systems developed by Turkish engineers. The deal, a sales agreement signed with Intecro Robotics as the main contractor and MetalWorm as a partner, will make this possible. The agreement covers the robotic production infrastructure for medium‑, heavy‑, and super‑heavy‑class rocket components. Intecro Robotics has signed an export contract with a foreign space agency for the manufacturing technologies of launch vehicles. According to an official statement, the company will work together with its group firm MetalWorm. They will integrate next‑gen robotic manufacturing systems to produce medium‑, heavy‑, and super‑heavy‑class launch vehicles as well as spacecraft components . Heavy‑Class Launch Vehicles tobe made with Robotic Systems The robotic and additive manufacturing infrastructure to be set up under the agreement will enable the automated production of large‑scale rocket fuselage and engine components that are difficult to manufacture using traditional methods. Moreover, these systems will be incorporated into production lines for launch vehicles in the medium‑lift, heavy‑lift, and super‑heavy‑lift segments. Solutions for Extreme Atmospheric and Orbital Conditions These next‑generation manufacturing solutions, designed by Turkish engineers, will produce the parts that undergo the highest stress during space missions. At the same time, the integrated manufacturing infrastructure will allow components to be made with tight tolerances, resistant to high temperatures, thermal stress, extreme pressure levels, intense structural loads, and challenging atmospheric and orbital mission conditions.
