Paris, 22 June 2022 Press release The French aerospace industry is present at ILA Berlin 2022 At the ILA Berlin 2022 Airshow, which will be held from 22 to 26 June 2022, the French aerospace industry association, GIFAS, is heading a delegation of 16 French companies presenting their know-how. The French companies will include prime contractors, equipment manufacturers, SMEs and maintenance specialists. The aerospace, space and defence companies exhibiting under the GIFAS banner within the French Pavilion during this 2022 edition are: Aeva Ignition, Aresia-Rafaut Group, Cobham Aerospace Communications, CT Ingenierie, Faure Herman, Kalistrut Aerospace, Nexess, Satys, Textpart Technologies. Airbus, Hexcel, Liebherr Aerospace, MBDA, Pyroalliance, Safran and Thales will also be present at the show with their own stands. For our aircraft manufacturers, this will be an opportunity to exhibit some of their models, including the Airbus A350-900, Beluga XL, H-145M, C295, Eurodrone… GIFAS will organize, in cooperation with BDLI, a meeting between Aerospace and Defence Equipment Group (GEAD) representatives and German BDLI manufacturers on Thursday 23 June. The French Defence procurement agency, the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA), the Civil Aviation Authority, Direction Générale de l’Aviation Civile (DGAC), and the French Space Agency (CNES) will also be present alongside the France pavilion. About GIFAS: The French Aerospace Industries Association (GIFAS) was created in 1908. It is an industry body that brings together more than 400 companies ranging from the main prime contractors and system suppliers to SMEs. They form a cohesive, hard-driving high-technology sector specializing in the design, development and construction, marketing and maintenance of all aeronautical and space programmes and equipment, both civilian and military planes and defence and security systems. GIFAS represents an industry whose 2021 sales turnover was € 55,2 bn, and that exports 83% of its output and, directly employs 188 000 individuals. GIFAS organizes the International Paris Airshow every two years, which is the world’s premier aerospace event. The 54th Paris-Le Bourget Airshow will run from 19 to 25 June 2023.
