Wednesday July 1st 2026 from 6pm to 8pm at château des Aix - 03500 Meillard hat a daring adventure for the Bourbonnais people who embarked and joined the American Revolutionary War in the late 1700s. Why did they risk their lives fighting in a war that wasn’t theirs? What were the reasons for their departure into the unknown? Did the ideals of the Enlightenment influence them? Paying tribute to these men too soon forgotten, answering a compelling need to reconnect with that spirit of epic adventure, seemingly abandoned by our disenchanted 21st century these are among the many reasons to celebrate, alongside our American Friends, the memory of « Les Bourbonnais aux Amériques. » Memory helps create a link between past and present and invites us to discover this adventure steeped in modernity.
