Welcome this afternoon to this public session of the Engagement with Space Committee of the House of Lords, and we're honored to have with us as a witness this afternoon Ms. Ati Holla Maini, who is the director of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs.

And to start, perhaps a question about how you see that we should address the difficulties that we see in space. Everybody describes it as contested, congested, and competitive. We have a great deal of evidence that tells us about the difficulties that ensue from that.
