Intervenant 1
Okay, colleagues.  Good morning, everyone.  We are now ready to start.  And on behalf of the Ample Committee, it's a great pleasure to welcome Commissioner Ribera to our meeting today and for us to discuss the main aspects of the clean industrial deal, in particular, the aspects that are relevant for our committee.  And we had the opportunity to participate in your hearing before the election of the college as an associated committee.

So we are also happy to invite you here today to have an opportunity for more in-depth discussion on the commission's priorities regarding the clean industrial deal as a part of the structured dialogue.  We all know the transformations that are going on in the industries all around Europe, and there has been a lot of discussions about that topic also in our committee.  And we think that your insights will be very valuable for us, which regards to how we transition into a clean economy and also in a way that leaves no one behind.

So we look forward to engaging in a constructive dialogue on the challenges and opportunities ahead, particularly on how we can strengthen skills development and quality job creation, social protection as a part of this transition.  I think we can all agree that the workers and regions most impacted by the transitions should receive the support they need to successfully adapt to green and sustainable future.  And this guiding policy designed to achieve both climate neutrality and just inclusive society within the EU.  So looking forward to this discussion today.
