Good morning, everybody. Thank you for joining us today for the press conference on the fundamental rights situation in the European Union. We're joined by the rapporteur Anna Strelenbeck from the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament. She'll brief us on the report, which is for 2024, 2025. It was debated yesterday in plenary, and it will be voted on today at noon.
So we'll get more details on the recommendations and the findings now, but just to let you know that we have interpretation also today in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and Polish. And after, we'll open the floor for questions from everyone in the room and online. So we can start. Thank you.

Thank you very much, and thank you for joining us this morning. We have been working on this report for several months, and I think it's very important that we have this report on fundamental rights because right now, well, let's be honest, fundamental rights are not that popular in Europe. We also see it on the other side of the ocean where Trump is saying that he can destroy a whole civilization or the only right of a person is for the strong one to oppress the weak. And we see more and more of these rhetorics also happening inside the European Union, plus they're being amplified online. So, I think for Europe, it is a moment now to decide which way we want to go.
