European Affairs Committee House of Lords
00:02 - 01:06
Speaker 3
Well, good morning, and welcome to this evidence session of the House of Lords Select Committee on European Affairs where we're conducting inquiry into the issue of dynamic alignment. This morning, we're delighted to have as our witnesses mister Frank Ascoff, who's director of energy and climate change policy at UK Steel, mister Max Green, who is senior trade and regulation policy manager of Make UK, and joining us online courtesy of the Tube Strike, mister Will Webster, UK Emissions Trading Group Limited and head of regulatory economics of Centrica. A very warm welcome to you all. It's a pleasure to and we're delighted to have your contribution with us this morning. We, will provide you with a transcript of the evidence for you to correct any errors and omissions afterwards.
It's a public session, of course, so, what you say is on the record. And could I just remind you that we're trying to get this done within an hour, and so if the questions and the responses could be reasonably concise, that would be enormously helpful. Thank you very much.
