I beg to move that the committee has considered the education initial teacher training regulations 2026, draft regulations laid before the house on the 01/22/2026. And I'd like to thank you, doctor Hook, for chairing this session. Teacher training quality is critical across all phases of education from early years through to adult education. In October 2025, the skills white paper set out the vision for England's skill system. The FE sector is central to that vision and requires high quality teacher training to drive progress.
