Welcome to today's meeting, which is the third oral evidence session as part of the committee's inquiry into the growth of private markets in the UK following reforms introduced after 02/2008. And thank you, monsieur Veron, for attending. A verbatim transcript will be taken of the evidence and will be put on the parliamentary website. A few days after this session, you'll be sent a copy of the transcript to check for accuracy, and it would be helpful if you could advise us of any corrections as quickly as possible.
