Representation of the People Bill House of Commons

00:01 - 00:52
Speaker 1
Representation of the people bill.  We are now sitting in public and the proceedings are being broadcast.  Before we begin, I'd like to remind members to please switch electronic devices to silent.  Tea and coffee are not allowed during these sittings.  Today we will consider the program motion on the amendment paper.

We will then consider a motion to enable the reporting evidence for publication and a motion to allow us to deliberate in private about questions before the oral evidence sessions.  In view of the time available, I hope we can take these matters formally without debate.  I first call the minister to move the program motion standing in her name, which was discussed on Monday by the programming subcommittee for this bill.

Move formally.
