Thank you Paola. Antoine Moudot for Japanese public TV NHK. Since it is now in the official journal, I would like to ask you again my previous question from some days ago on the Council's final approval for the tariffs commitment within the Tunberry deal. Is it a relief that this happened shortly before the 1st of July since the US President Trump expressed further threats toward this deadline? And also, have you communicated already to the US counterparts?

Thanks for your question Antoine. First of all, to point out that you are indeed correct. Today in the official journal we have published the regulations that implement our commitments under the EU-US joint statement of last August. What that means in practice is that tariffs are eliminated on imports from the US of industrial goods and some certain non-sensitive agricultural products. This is good news for the European Union because we will have better access to this range of imports at better prices.
This is good news for transatlantic relations because it will boost trade and investment. But the ultimate point here is that it proves something we already know quite well. That the European Union always follows through on its commitments that we make in trade agreements and that as our President has put it so neatly, a deal is a deal. Promise made, promise delivered and now we look forward to continuing the work with the US in the context of the joint statement.
