Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear Raffaele, thank you for your speech. This could have been concluding remarks. Thank you very much for all you have said. I want to thank once again all of you, participants, ministers, members of European Parliament for contributing to this discussion this morning. Of course, JRC is key, so thank you once again and we will continue our work.
Maybe only three takeaways from this morning. One takeaway is that all of us say that demographic challenge poses, demographic change poses challenges, but we can turn these challenges into opportunities. We still have room to maneuver and especially when we consider the importance of regional and cohesion policy to address these issues. So right to stay is, we have our four freedoms and we don't depart from our four freedoms, but the fifth, if I may say so, freedom is a right to stay. And this is where we will be working together.
Thank you, Raffaele, once again. Second, this is not exclusively European challenge. We have, all the countries, as you rightly said, have problems, but they don't encounter same problems, but it's only European challenge. It's also, we have decreasing, decreasing or declining rates across the world. This year, India, which nobody mentioned, India fell below the replacement rate.
Who could have envisaged this? So this also offers opportunities because we can learn from each other, of course. And third, very important one, we have tools to face these challenges. We heard so many solutions today, on housing first, on well-managed migration, on intergenerational fairness and on regional policy. These are very important.
