Hi there, thank you. I'm Max Ramsey from Bloomberg. So there are calls from some agricultural groups in Poland to lift trade restrictions on Ukrainian agricultural products, specifically rapeseed, because harvests have been impacted by this recent extreme heat. I know these are Polish bilateral measures, but I just wanted to get the latest EU position on these restrictions and if this recent heat is a reason to lift restrictions in the member states that currently have them. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your question, Max. I'll take this one as it's a trade question in the first instance. Look, the position of the Commission here has not changed. We call on the member states in question to remove their unilateral measures, and we will continue to engage with them in a firm way to try and secure this outcome for the reason that we do not believe that these measures, which risk fragmenting the single market, are justified, in particular following the recent upgrade to our comprehensive, the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement with Ukraine. So we will continue to engage on that basis, and that's really all we can say on it for the moment.

Thank you, Olaf, my usual follow-up on this issue. Since these unilateral measures are in place since 2023, if I remember well, you have said that you are engaging in a firm way, but why are you not using all the instruments that the treaty gives to the Commission, especially infringement procedure, to, well, basically to avoid fragmentation of the internal market, to push member states to respect the rules and so on? Thank you.
