I would like to know if the Commission is confirming that Brussels want to ask some exemption on tariff to the US on Roquefort, Pecorino, etc. And if my information are correct too, I have the feeling that there are still exemption on steel that are not applied. The tariff is still around 50%, sorry.

Thank you very much for your questions, Agathe. I'll start with the last one first on steel. This is an area where we have made some progress and we continue to engage with the US to ensure that a good outcome is reached that's acceptable to both sides and in line with the commitments we've made under the joint statement. On your first question, so you're asking me are we discussing with the US other potential areas and products where we would like to see greater tariff reductions or even tariff exemptions. And here the answer is yes.

We are very much engaging with the US to achieve this outcome. This is something we've said from the very start since the signature of the joint statement last year that we made our clear commitments as regards immediate or close to immediate tariff reductions. So the US is delivering on its side and we have delivered on our side on the commitment to reduce tariffs on imports of US industrial goods. And with those commitments being delivered, we can now look at other areas. So we really want to look at as many areas as possible where we can reduce or eliminate tariffs for the benefit of both sides, for the benefit of exporters, for the benefit of consumers and generally to ensure that we strengthen the EU-US trade and investment relationship.
