Thanks, Paula.  Christian with Ends Europe.  A question for Anna-Kaisa.  Last time I checked, 20 member states have not yet submitted their draft national restoration plans as required under the Nature Restoration Law, with the deadline having passed yesterday.  So I was wondering if you have any comment on how this affects the timeline for finalizing the plans and what are the next steps with regards to the missing plans.

Thank you.

So, correct.  It is something that is available also to follow online so that you can see the tally of the member states that have submitted these draft plans.  And indeed, as you say, the deadline was yesterday.  So we acknowledge, first of all, that the national restoration, Nature Restoration Plans is a new, it's a fairly complex exercise, which is why we encourage the member states to really put effort already on the draft so that we will be able to give the feedback in time.  So our approach obviously is to encourage the member states to submit these drafts as soon as possible so that we will be able to start looking into them, so that we will be able to make our first assessment before the final plans.

And our approach here will be to be as constructive, as supportive as possible.  It is the first round.  It is the first time we're doing this.  So we want to make sure that it will be a successful one.  But it is a bit early now to start making any kind of assumptions on how this will go forward.
