Thank you mister Barker. It's a pleasure to serve under your chairmanship and thank you for chairing this committee. I beg to move that the Health and Social Care Act 2008 Regulated activities amendment regulations 2026 be approved. This statutory instrument makes an important change. It will amend the twenty fourteen regulations so that the treatment of disease disorder and injury, they are hereafter known as TDDI, is brought within the regulatory scope of the Cure Quality Commission.
