Order. Order. We'll welcome We'll welcome everybody to the latest meeting of the environmental audit committee in today's particular one off session on extreme heat, which is very timely given the week or two we've just been through. We have two different panel of panels in front of us today. The first panel we're delighted to have with us doctor Richard Miller from climate change committee and professor Svenja Saminski from the adaptation committee.
Firstly, thank you for being with us. Can I just encourage you to just introduce yourselves and particularly what your role is within the committees that you are on, particularly as it pertains to to heat? Starting with yourself, professor Siminski.

Yeah. Thank you very much. I don't need to press. Okay. Thank you also for the opportunity to talk about this important topic.
So I represent today the climate change committee where I serve on the adaptation committee and also on the mitigation committee. For full transparency, I also work in the private sector. I work for Marsh, a leading insurance and risk management advisory firm where we work a lot with public and private sector organizations on complex risks including climate. And I'm also a professor and practice at the Grantham Research Institute at the LSE, where, again, we do a lot of research on adaptation, on climate risk, but also more recently on the macroeconomic case, working with the coalition of finance on climate action.
