People with a hearing impairment, are reassessed at age 25. We also have the ability, when we're conducting, planning reviews, our planners can also refer a person for an eligibility reassessment, but that is, generally where, there is evidence, and that planner believes that an eligibility reassessment is warranted. Aside from that, people's plans are generally determined based... You know, they have a time frame for their plan. And once that plan, is coming up, for expiry, they will be also, triggered for a a new plan reassessment, but that does not necessarily include an eligibility reassessment.
We do understand that people, do find, the process of eligibility reassessment stressful. As Aaron mentioned, mister Berlin mentioned earlier, we have done a lot of work with participants to look at the process for, eligibility reassessment, and we have made some improvements. Some of them, mister Berlin spoke about, which is around, being clearer in our communications about what's involved in an assessment and what information is required. The second thing we've improved, this year is we have extended the time frame for people to provide, information to support their assessment, and, that was extending it from twenty eight days to ninety days. So that gives people some time to collect, the information to to support their access to the scheme.

I I think that's great, and I... And and I support those measures. I guess my concern is around where we are creating time and resource cost and financial cost to keep reiterating something that will not change. So, you know, perhaps a specialist report that, you know, confirms a condition is ongoing. There is a cost and time constraint and an impact to that and a human impact of needing to go prove something that will never change.
I'm I'm trying to get my head around why we're asking people for that. That just doesn't make sense to me.
