Well, thank you, everyone. I believe we are for it now, and all of our witnesses are in attendance. So I will declare open the public hearing on the standing committee on education's inquiry into building Asia capability in Australia through the education system and beyond, and I acknowledge the traditional custodians on the land on which, we are meeting today. Pay respects to elders past and present of the indigenous peoples from across Australia. This hearing will be broadcast, and the transcript of proceedings will be published on the parliament's website.
I'll just briefly invite, members of the committee present here today to introduce themselves. Maybe we'll start with the deputy chair.
