A short question and answer session, and I understand Lauren is happy to stay around too if you miss that opportunity. It's my pleasure to introduce today's presenter, professor Lauren Newdorf. Lorne is dean and professor of law at La Trobe Law School. He holds a doctor of philosophy in law from the University of Cambridge, a master of laws from McGill University, and a juris doctor from the University of Victoria in Canada. Lorne's research frequently adopts a comparative perspective, and it focuses on public law and lawmaking institutions.
Lorne is currently the external legal adviser to the senate standing committee for the scrutiny of delegated legislation. It's my pleasure to welcome Lorne to deliver his lecture, the parliamentary parliamentary scrutiny of legislation in the age of artificial intelligence. Thank you, Lorne.
