In this public hearing. The broadcasting is good to go. Fantastic. I declare open the sep... Second public hearing on the joint standing committee on treaties for its inquiry into the Council of European Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competition.

I begin by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet today and pay my respects to elders past, present... Past and present. I also wish to extend that respect to any Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples joining us today. In accordance with the committee's resolution of 07/31/2025, this hearing will be broadcast, and proof and official transcripts of the proceedings will be published and made available on the parliament's website. A reminder, to all present that as the chair, I will ensure the proceedings are conducted in an orderly, respectful, and courteous way.

I remind members of the media the need for fair and accurate reporting on the proceedings of the committee. I'd now like to call our first witness for today. For the hands...
