Speaker 7
Clear opened its public hearing of the House Standing Committee on Industry Innovation Science for its inquiry into the current state of the Australian tire industry and any challenges and opportunities for the industry within the context of the circular economy.  I acknowledge that today we meet on the traditional lands of the Nunnabal and Nambri people and pay my respects to elders past, present, and emerging.  I remind all witnesses are giving evidence to the committee that they are protected by parliamentary privilege.  It is unlawful for anyone to threaten or disadvantage a witness on account of evidence given to the committee, and such action may be treated, by the parliament as contempt.  In accordance with the committee's resolution of 08/06/2025.

This hearing will be recorded and broadcast on the parliament's website, and proof of the official transcripts of proceedings will be published on the parliament's website and also remind members of the media who may be present or listening online on the web of the need to fairly and accurately report the proceedings of the committee.  So I now welcome representatives of the Australian Tire Recyclers Association to give evidence at this public hearing.  For the hand side, could you please each state your full name and the capacity in which you appear?
