House of Representatives Australian Parliament
09:54 - 09:56
Speaker 1
Honorable members, the speaker.
10:07 - 11:00
Speaker 23
I acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngunnawal peoples who are the traditional custodians of the Canberra area and pay respects to the elders past and present of all Australia's indigenous peoples. Almighty god, we humbly beseech thee to vouchsight thy blessing upon this parliament. Direct and prosper our deliberations to the advancement of thy glory and the true welfare of the people of Australia. Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. I give a call to the honorable member for Dunkley.
11:00 - 11:40

Thank you, mister speaker. I present the ninth report of the petitions committee for the forty eighth parliament together with one petition and 22 ministerial responses to petitions previously presented. There are currently 97 petitions open for signatures on the house e petitions website. The petitions cover a range of topics including transparency in government, health, visa matters, freedom of speech, The Middle East, and age verification laws. More certifications will follow at the committee's next meeting.
