Speaker 20
I now declare open this public hearing, the Foreign Affairs and Aid Subcommittee of the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Trade for the inquiry into the role of Australia's International Development Program in preventing conflict. I'd like to begin by acknowledging the traditional owners land in which we meet today. I'd like to pay my respects to elders past and present. I also acknowledge the cultures of any aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples present with us today. This hearing will be broadcast on the parliament's website, and the proof and official transcripts of the proceedings will be published on the committee's web page.
24:20 - 24:36

I now welcome representatives from the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue and the World Food Program to give evidence today. For the hand side record, would you please state your name and the capacity in which you appear before the committee? I will start in the room.
