As it exists today, the emerging trends in the Australian labor market, and most importantly, the relationship between the Australian labor market and our national skill system, vocational education and training, higher education, skilled migration, and business investment in training, the things that make our productivity and economic prosperity grow is the connection between the skills that we can generate and their connection with the needs and demands of industry more broadly. JSA, I think, does a wonderful job at exploring those topics, providing evidence based, advice to government. There's... It's probably ill advised of me to pick out things that I think are particularly important, but I wanted to highlight perhaps a couple of things, chair, that I think have been, to me, highlight the, extraordinary capacity of an agency like JSA. One is the work we do using person level integrated data assets from the ABS to understand the impact of vocational education and training, for example, in transforming the lives of Australians.
And the work we've done with our Vet National Data Asset has illustrated that. To show that completing a Vet qualification in Australia is life changing, it not only provides a very significant, uplift in in income, but it also leads to a significant, decrease on dependency on income support and a significant flow on to further education and training. That is very much a pathway to prosperity. And one of the most recent pieces of work we've done at JSA is to explore that for those who don't fully complete a VET qualification, those who partially complete, and whether or not there are discernible and very positive outcomes from even partial completion, and the answer is yes. Very powerfully, there is.
Not to the same extent as a full completion, but there's there, nevertheless. And I think it's that ability to demonstrate the transformative and transformational power of, our education and training system that is most, most important to me. We did a very important study on generative AI in the Australian labor market at exactly the right time. I think we needed to do that. Last year, we've provided, I think, outstanding advice on school migration for temporary employer sponsored school migration.
We continue to monitor the impacts of school migration on the Australian domestic labor market. So, it's been a busy two years. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I look forward to hearing of the successes of JSA in the future, but I... I'd like to emphasize the, the synergy between Jobs and Skills Australia and the Australian Tertiary Education Commission, of which there are many overlaps.
