Should we wait till? It being 11AM, I declare open this public hearing of the Joint Standing Committee on Trade Investment Growth for its inquiry into creating sustainable economic growth in rural and regional Australia. Today, the committee is meeting in Mount Gambier, South Australia. I'd like to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land from which we meet today and pay my respects to their ancestors and elders past, present, and emerging. I extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their cultural and spiritual connections to Australia's land and waters.
