House of Representatives Australian Parliament
10:04 - 10:31
Speaker 59
I acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples who are traditional custodians of the Canberra area and pay respects to the elders, past, and present of all Australia's indigenous peoples. Almighty god, we humbly beseech thee to vouchsight thy blessing upon this parliament. Director and prosper our deliberations to the advancement of thy glory and the true welfare of the people of Australia. Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
10:31 - 11:09
Speaker 70
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen. Order of members can lead the chamber quickly and quietly as possible.
11:09 - 11:13
Speaker 3
Give a call to the honorable member for Dunkley.
11:13 - 11:51
Speaker 28
Good morning, mister speaker. I present the twelfth report of the petitions committee for the forty eighth parliament together with six ministerial responses to petitions presented previously. There are currently a 107 petitions open for signatures on the House e petitions website. Petitions continue to cover a range of topics, including tax reform, veterans affairs, private health insurance, bullying in schools, and food waste. These topics are an indicator of the varied interests of those who engage with the petitions process.
