ACOSS outlines inter- and intra-generational wealth and housing inequality, proposes reforms to CGT and negative gearing, argues for large-scale social housing expansion and stronger rental regulation, and debates with senators over social vs community housing, federal housing strategy, and claims that investor tax changes harm supply. The segment covers data on inequality drivers, parental wealth, detailed social housing targets and costs, and an extended exchange with Senator Bragg on tax, supply and rents.
