Senate Australian Parliament

08:26 - 09:16
Speaker 13
Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.  Thy kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  For Thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, for ever and ever.  Amen.  I acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, the traditional custodians of the Canberra area and pay respect to the elders, past and present, of all Australia's Indigenous peoples.  I inform the Senate that on the 14th of May 2024, the Governor-General issued a proclamation summoning the Parliament to meet this day at 9:00 a.m.

The Clerk will read the proclamation.
