The order following the order of the house on the April 28 this year, the chair of the backbench business committee will be elected for the remainder of the parliament. Nominations are now open and will close at 1PM on Tuesday, May 19. Nomination forms are available from the vote office, the table office, and the public bill office. No member may be a candidate if the member's party is represented in his majesty's government. Candidates need the support of no fewer than 10 members from the government side of the house and no fewer than 10 members from the party not represented in government or from no party.
If there is more than one candidate, the ballot will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 10AM to 1PM, in the Aye Lobby. Right. We now come to business questions. Should the leader of the house, Jesse Norman?
