For each item adopted, the results of the votes will be displayed on the television screens in the room and on the internet, on the video streaming page of the Council also. Statements will be entered into the minutes of this meeting.

Intervenant 2
We begin with the adoption of an amendment to Directive on the Eurovignette. This directive provides greater clarity for hauliers, national authorities and toll service providers on how the Eurovignette rules should be applied. It spells out key definitions related to CO2 emissions and allows member states to apply reduced user or infrastructure charges for low-emission vehicles.
The Council should now be able to approve the European Parliament's position as set out in document PE-CONS 58/26. The results of the vote are now displayed, I note that the required qualified majority has been reached and that the act is adopted. We continue with the adoption of the decision empowering France to accede to the Inter-American Convention for the Protection and Conservation of Sea Turtles. This decision enables France to accede to the convention to contribute to the international efforts to protect marine biodiversity and promote healthy and resilient ocean ecosystems. The Council should now be able to approve the European Parliament's position as set out in document PE-CONS 56/28.
The results of the vote are now displayed and I note that the required qualified majority has been reached and that the act is adopted. Now we will adopt an amendment to the regulations as regards alignment with the EU economic governance framework and further simplification of the framework. In order to contribute to the simplification agenda, this regulation will ensure consistency between, on the one hand, the national draft budgetary plans and the financial sanctions that could be imposed on member states breaching fiscal rules, and on the other, the 2024 EU governance framework. The Council should now be able to approve the European Parliament's position as set out in document PE-CONS 41/26.
