Good evening. The European Council finished a few minutes ago. I'm pleased to welcome on stage António Costa, President of the European Council, and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. They will report on the outcome of this meeting. Without further ado, I will give the floor to President Costa.

Dear Ursula, good evening. We have just concluded two days of important discussions. We covered a lot of ground: on affordability and prosperity, on trade, on our future budget, and also on Ukraine and migration.
First, we reviewed the implementation of our one Europe, one market agenda. Since our retreat in Alden Biesen in February, we have progressed a lot, thanks to the efforts of the Commission, the Parliament, and the Irish presidency. On cutting red tape, on removing barriers in the single market, on channeling European private capital and savings to European companies. And I want to highlight here the agreement reached last week on the market integration and supervision package, essential to have a real capital markets union. On other important issues, like the so-called EU Inc, the 28th regime for companies, we have concrete targets and concrete timelines.
