Committee House of Commons
00:00 - 00:52
Speaker 1
Order, order. Good afternoon and welcome to the public evidence session of this Procedure Committee. We're continuing to take evidence for our inquiry into written parliamentary questions. And today's session is the opportunity to hear more about how the process works at an official level with Parliament and the role of the House Administration Table Office in the written PQ system. We'll also be using this session as an opportunity to ask the Table Office some questions about points that have already been raised with us in the course of this inquiry.
And we're delighted therefore to be joined by two senior clerks from the Table Office, Dr Farrah Bhatti and Nick Beech.
And before we begin, I would ask you both to please introduce yourselves for the record.
