Shall we pray? Gracious and loving God, we come before you quieting our hearts in your presence. As the word reminds us again and again, the Lord is our shepherd. I shall not want. He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul. Father, we lift up those whom serve in this place. Oh, God, grant them wisdom as you have promised that that those who ask will receive. Give them clarity in their decisions, compassion in their care, and and humility in their service. In moments of burden, dear God, be their strength.
In the moments of uncertainty, dear God, be their light. Help them remember, father, that that every person bears your image and is worthy of that dignity and care. May your peace rest in this place, and may your grace guide every step. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
