Good morning, everyone. Welcome to the second day of twenty twenty four postseason and preseason public briefings on utility public safety power shutoffs. My name is Cindy Chen, senior regulatory analyst in Safety and Enforcement Division, Wildfire Safety Enforcement Branch. I will be the lead facilitator today. Joining with me are Mr.
Anthony Nong, Program Manager and Mr. Ronald DeMail, Program and Project Supervisor. Thank you, everyone, for being here in person. This is our fifth annual postseason and preseason PSPS workshop. PSPS continues to be the last resort in utilities' toolbox to mitigate the wildfire risks.
During the workshop, the electric utilities will provide updates on their efforts to coordinate with public safety partners to provide assistance and support to the most vulnerable populations. The utilities will also identify changes to processes and operations in 2024 based on the lessons learned from previous year's PSPS events. Next slide, please. Reviewing the agenda, we'll start with opening remarks from the dais. Then, San Diego Gas and Electric and Bear Valley Electric Services will present in the morning and answer questions from the dais.
