Good morning, everybody. Well, my name is Anne Kim. I'm with the safety policy division. With briefing on updates regarding electric infrastructure risks, safety culture, and how the electric utilities are balancing safer energy, reliability, and affordability. Since October 2007 when the witch fire set San Diego ablaze, Californians, our energy infrastructure, and laws have all adapted to and will continue to adapt to our planet's changing climate.
This year alone in my hometown, my friends and fellow mothers had to flee the Palisades and eaten fires. Today, board members and executives from each of the six investor owned utilities will present and answer questions on wildfire risks to electric infrastructure, risk mitigation, the customers they serve, those who are most vulnerable, and the state of safety culture among workers, mid level managers, and executives alike. Today, director Thomas Jacobs is generously hosting us, president Reynolds, commissioners John Reynolds, commissioner Karen Douglas, Darcy Hauk, Matthew Baker, and the state fire marshal chief Berlant are here to preside over the meeting. The agenda consists in the morning of PG and E's presentation followed by SCE then BVES. Public comments a public comment period will occur just after their presentation.
In the afternoon, SDG and E, Pacific Corp, Liberty will each present, and then a period of public comment will follow. We anticipate that the meeting will close around 05:00, but things are subject to change. Thank you very much to everybody who is attending, and, I'll hand it over to commissioner Reynolds for opening remarks.
