Thanks to you all for your attention. Thank you. Well, please LIBE members, take your seats so we can start the LIBE meeting. Well, first I understand that if there is no objections, I take the agenda as adopted. Interpretation is provided in all languages except Latvian and Irish for this meeting.
Then I would like now to refer to the proposal for a Council directive concerning the consular protection for unrepresented citizens of the Union in third countries, whose rapporteur is Mrs. Lena Düpont. The draft report could not be presented in LIBE but has been circulated in writing today to all LIBE members. Given the importance of keeping the agreed timetable of the file, the deadline for amendments is set on Friday, 12th of June at 10:00 AM.
