Environmental Audit Committee Actual start House of Commons
16:28 - 17:38
Speaker 1
Order, order.
Well, welcome everybody to this special session of the Environmental Audit Committee where I'm pleased to say we will be following up on the session that we had a few weeks ago on the National Security Assessment on biodiversity loss. We, following that, invited ministers from the Department for the Environment, from the Cabinet Office, and the Foreign Office to join us. One out of three wouldn't say isn't bad, but it's what we've got anyway. And we're delighted to have Minister Mary Creagh. Thank you very much for coming along.
Also to have Ros Eales here from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and also two senior figures from the Department for the Environment who I will encourage to introduce themselves. So thank you very much all of you for joining us. So if I could start by just asking you to introduce yourself and, of course, any involvement that you had in the putting together of the National Security Assessment.
17:38 - 17:40
Speaker 2
If we could start with yourself please, Ms Ledward.
