Industry and Regulators Committee House of Lords
00:03 - 00:52
Speaker 1
Well, good morning and welcome to this meeting of the Industry and Regulators Committee. We're carrying out an inquiry at the moment onto the relationship between government and the defence industry. This is being broadcast on Parliament TV. There will be a full Hansard report of it and you'll have a chance to check that in case we've misunderstood any of your words. If I may though, just introduce myself.
I'm Dianne Hayter, the chair of the committee and I think this is our fifth evidence session. So we're very grateful to you for giving your time today. I'll introduce my colleagues as they put questions, but if for the moment you could begin just by introducing yourselves.
00:52 - 01:07
Speaker 2
Good morning. I'm Grace Cassy. I'm an investor with Ten Eleven Ventures and for the purpose of this inquiry I've also served as one of the additional reviewers on the 2025 Strategic Defence Review.
01:07 - 01:32
Speaker 12
Morning, I'm Colin Maund. I'm chief executive of an organisation called Hellios and the relevance of this is that we run a system in the UK called JOSCAR, which is a system for managing suppliers to 32 or 33 prime contractors and the MOD.
