I swear by Almighty God that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to His Majesty King Charles, his heirs and successors, according to law.  So help me God.

Speaker 2
I wish to inform the House that I have received letters from the honorable member for Vauxhall, Campbell Green, informing me of her resignation as the chair of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee, the honorable member for Hammersmith and Chiswick informing me of his resignation as chair of the Justice Committee, and the honorable member for Luton North informing me of her resignation as chair of the Women and Equalities Committee.

I therefore declare those chairs vacant.  Nominations for the elections to those vacancies are now open and will close at 2:30 on Monday the 7th of September.  Nomination forms will be available from the Vote Office, the Table Office and the Public Bill Office.  Only members from the Labour Party may be candidates in these elections.  If there is more than one candidate in any election, the ballot will take place on Monday the 14th of September between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Aye division lobby.
