Welcome to the Administration Committee here today and we've got our general election planning inquiry this morning. Welcome and thank you for coming to this second session of our witnesses of our inquiry into general election planning. We welcome our witnesses who I will invite to introduce themselves in a few moments. We're grateful to each former Member of Parliament for coming to the committee today to speak to us about their experiences of leaving Parliament. The Administration Committee in the last Parliament looked at the quality of services provided to MPs when they leave the House.
And as part of our inquiry, we want to look at whether the support put in place after the last general election was effective in helping MPs transition to a life after Parliament. So thanks to our witnesses, can you please introduce yourselves?
