I declare open the public hearing of the Standing Committee on Primary Industries inquiry into factors shaping social license and economic development outcomes in critical minerals projects across Australia in Brisbane. I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the lands from which we meet today and pay respect to the elders past and present of the Indigenous peoples across Australia. This hearing will be audio broadcast and the transcript of proceedings will be published on the Parliament's website.
