Women and Equalities Committee Actual start House of Commons
22:40 - 22:43
Speaker 1
Good afternoon and welcome to the Women and Equalities Select Committee.
22:45 - 23:52
Speaker 2
Today we're holding our first oral evidence session as part of our inquiry into equality at work, flexible working and disability. This inquiry follows on from some of our other equalities areas at work in the workplace. And today I'm really glad that we have a brilliant and large panel with us. We have Clare Ogden, head of support services at Action for ME. We've got Fazilet Hadi MBE, head of policy, advice and information at Disability Rights UK.
Welcome.
And Patricia Stapleton, Senior Policy Manager at Arthritis UK. We've got Alison Thwaite, Head of Employment Services at the Down's Syndrome Association, and James Taylor, Executive Director of Strategy, Impact and Social Change at Scope. Welcome to you all. We're going to be asking you some questions today. If you feel you've got more to say in greater detail than we have time for today, you can submit that in written evidence afterwards.
