And I have been somewhat discombobulated by the extraordinary amount of effort that has gone to getting into just six clauses before the House today.  So I'm deeply indebted to the Government Whips' Office who have been extraordinarily helpful.  I don't know what is happening to this Parliament.  It's vastly more helpful than I was ever expected to be when I was a government whip.  Anyway, equally, I'm equally indebted to the ministers and their private offices, and indeed to their parliamentary draftsmen.
