International Relations and Defence Committee Actual start House of Lords
23:12 - 24:23
Speaker 1
The the affair here today is being televised live.
You may have noticed on the 10 o'clock news last night that that was featuring there as well. Therefore we're we're welcoming you to the second session of our inquiry exploring the recommendations, the implementation of the recommendations of the Strategic Defence Review.
A transcript will be taken today and we'll send it to you for any small textual corrections that you you might have. Members around the table will have to declare any interest in advance of their questions and I've got to say that I have to declare that I am a senior counselor with the Cohen Group but I'm also I was also the lead reviewer of the strategic defense review itself. Perhaps before we start you might like to introduce the key people that you brought with you Mr. Pearce.
24:23 - 24:42
Speaker 2
Thank you Lord Robertson. It's a pleasure to be here and I look forward to an open and transparent engagement on these very important topics. The reason that I've brought some experts with me but they're a visible manifestation of what the National Armaments Group is is can be when we work together across different disciplines.
