Thank you, Chair. And I stand to move motions 50 to 54, new clause 44 and new clause 45, which are in my name, Chair. And what I was saying before the lunch break was essentially that clause 7 essentially says what the Secretary of State's job is and it moves the functions of planning workforce from NHS England to the Secretary of State, which is a reasonable thing to do. And I talked about the previous government's record and opening new medical schools and how that's helped the number of clinical staff. We also talked about the workforce plan.
The government is due to produce a workforce plan, Chair, but it's not clear when it's due to come out. It was due to come out in the end of last year and it didn't. It was due to come out in the spring. Now it's the summer.
